Project Overview
This project was carried out at a medical cannabis dispensary located just outside downtown Portland, North East Sandy Blvd. Cannabis shops often face elevated security risks due to their high-value inventory and cash-heavy operations. The store management sought a solution to protect the building’s perimeter—especially the roofline and vertical drainpipe areas that could serve as climbing points for intruders.
To address these concerns, Ninja Deterrent™ stainless-steel anti-climb spikes were installed along the roof parapet, combined with barbed wire around the upper section of the drainpipe. This created a strong, layered defense against unauthorized entry.
Installation Details
The installation was designed to blend with the building’s urban character. The spikes were mounted discreetly along the parapet edge, visible enough to deter intrusion but harmonized with the architecture and signage.
