Quiet Strength for a Classic Facade — GIZAGIZA HEART on Milan St

At Milan St, we installed the GIZAGIZA HEART (Black) continuously along a stucco garden wall and gate return. The low, dark profile pairs with the gas lantern and shutters while eliminating grips, footholds, and hook points.

Subtle from the street, unmistakable up close.
Continuous line removes starting points for climbing.
Low-rise profile reads as a thin shadow line.

Project Snapshot

  • Location:Milan St, New Orleans, LA
  • Scope: Stucco perimeter wall — continuous run with returned ends
  • Product/Finish: GIZAGIZA HEART, Black
  • Goal: Boost climb resistance while preserving the historic streetscape
  • Detail: Corner returns and tight fastening to prevent leverage and rattle

Design Fit — Keep the Heritage, Block the Climb

The home’s vintage shutters, ironwork, and gas lanterns remain the visual heroes. We specified a
matte black, low-profile crown so the deterrent disappears into the coping line from afar,
yet clearly signals “do not climb†at close range.

Client Voice

“We kept the classic front intact and finally got the last layer of security we needed—subtle look, strong deterrence.â€
