A Cottage Look, Quietly Reinforced
A sage-green tongue-and-groove board fence and matching gate frame the side yard of this dormered cottage-style home. The painted boards and spring-hinged gate give a soft, traditional feel — so the security upgrade had to stay just as understated.
Black anti-climb spikes were fitted along the top of the fence and gate. Painted to match the dark gate hardware, they vanish into the line of the fence from the yard while removing any foothold for someone trying to come over the top.
