Wall | Hollywood | Los Angeles
Continuous anti-climb spike installation on a perimeter wall near W Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, Los Angeles, maintaining a clean architectural look while securing the property.

“I am extremely satisfied. The seller was kind and attentive, and the product was top quality and exactly what I wanted.”
This case study features an installation on the facade of an apartment building nestled in a quiet residential area of San Francisco, USA. Mr. S.S., who owns a facade characterized by classically decorated arches and an ivory-colored exterior wall, consulted with us, and we proposed the "Gothic Black Dual Blade."
Furthermore, the wrought iron gate on the facade features a spiral pattern. By introducing a "Ninja Deterrent™" that is understated in design yet has a presence, it was possible to enhance security without compromising the appearance of the building's exterior.
The building's classically detailed facade — ivory walls, bay windows, and a deeply recessed arched entry — is exactly the character the owner, Mr. S.S., wanted to protect. The challenge was to secure the recessed entryway without introducing anything that would clash with the period architecture. The Gothic Black Dual Blade was chosen precisely because it could blend into this composition rather than disrupt it.
Looking up, the Gothic Black Dual Blade runs as a crisp line along the ledge beneath the decorative corbels. Set against the ivory cornice and the open sky, the matte black spikes pick up the building's existing black accents instead of fighting them. The detailing reads as part of the architecture, even as it strips away any foothold along the ledge.
Here the integration is clearest. Beneath the facade's large arch, a highly decorative wrought iron gate in black steel contrasts beautifully with the white wall, while the spike line on the ledge and a discreet camera overhead complete a layered defense. Each element adds protection — the gate at hand height, the spikes along the climbable ledge, the camera above — without concealing a single piece of the classical decoration.
From the front, the spiral-patterned wrought iron gate and the Gothic Black Dual Blade above it share the same restrained black palette. The spike line traces the ledge directly beneath the carved cornice, closing off the one surface a climber could otherwise use to reach the upper floors. The result is a secure entry that still reads, first and foremost, as an elegant period facade.
In this case study, we installed the "Gothic Black Dual Blade" on "Classical Decoration x Wrought Iron x Ivory Exterior Wall," enhancing security without compromising the customer's preferred aesthetic.
