A vivid blue Victorian residence near Buena Vista Park needed to secure the narrow side passage between the house and the neighboring brick building — a classic blind spot for intruders in San Francisco’s dense residential blocks.
Securing the Blind Spot
The gap between two buildings is the most common entry route for break-ins. We installed Classic series hook-type spikes along the full length of the metal fence topping the wooden gate, closing the route without touching the historic facade.
Respecting Victorian Character
The slim stainless profile keeps the security hardware visually quiet against the ornate trim, preserving the character of the painted-lady architecture while sending a clear deterrent message.
